Unleash your imagination with The Gray Edge! We make it easy to transition your ideas from concept to reality. From stunning personalized gifts to functional prototypes, our 3D Printing and design capabilities will bring your vision to life. Our mission for the Gray Edge is to spread joy through both fun and functional prints. We love passing out new fidgets and toys to the kids (and sometimes adults) at our church. We enjoy both designing and printing; so passing on that joy is our goal!
I'm Brian, an engineer who loves solving problems with unique solutions. My background is in Robotics Engineering. I have 20+ years experience working with Autocad software for designing, programming, building layouts, and machinery adpatations.
My wife, Beth, currently stays at home with our children. She has a masters degree in computer science and worked until COVID struck, leaving us with no child care.
We have a good mix of designing our own products and licensing through 3D print designers. Licensing through designers adds the cute, fun, trendy products to what we offer. We have done custom work for Home Inspection companies, gaming stores, the Ohio State Police, football teams, wrestling teams, lacrosse teams, cheer teams, baseball teams and of course things our friends ask for.
Beth is currently working on a separate division for our business. She has felt the calling to support special needs children, encourage others through tough times, and to spread God’s love. One of our children has pretty intense special needs; one has a rare genetic condition which requires extra care and monitoring; and the third has a couple of milder things which also require extra help.
She is a nearly 2-year breast cancer survivor. We have supported and cared for loved ones nearing the end. We have worked through infertility. Parents with cancer. Unexpected loss. There are so many other things that have been hard for our family. We realize our ‘hard’ might not have been your ‘hard’. Every person struggles with something.
For a couple of years she has been praying for a way to use her technical skills to encourage others. During each of life's challenges the love of God has shown through others to us; blessing us and lifting us up. That support, love, and encouragement is something she wants to pass on. Do you have another appointment for your child coming up? Do you have a second opinion on the ‘spot’ found inside your body? Are you working through how to handle a difficult time in your life? These are all situations she hopes to offer some encouragement for. She has a domain name and is currently working on the website and content for it.
Hope you enjoyed looking through our website! If you have questions, or have a special design request, please send us a message!
